Who we are
Drone Sim ("the app") is an FPV drone flight simulator published by Cowork Game Studio ("we", "us") for iPhone, iPad, Android, Meta Quest and web browsers at dronesim.coworkgamestudio.com.
Data we collect
None directly. The app has no analytics, crash-reporting or social SDKs and does not ask you to sign in. The free versions contain Google's advertising SDKs (below), which collect data for ads under Google's policies.
Advertising (free versions)
- iPhone, iPad and Android apps use Google AdMob to show a full-screen ad now and then between races (never during a flight). AdMob may collect your device's advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS only if you allow tracking, Android advertising ID), IP address, coarse location derived from it, device and app information and ad interactions, to serve, measure and limit ads and to prevent fraud.
- Tracking permission (iOS): the app asks through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt whether ads may use your IDFA. Ads still show if you decline, just less personalised. You can change it in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.
- Consent (EEA, UK, Switzerland): before personalised ads, a Google consent message (a certified consent platform) asks for your choice. Reopen it any time from Settings › Ad privacy choices.
- Web version: may show ads served by Google AdSense, which uses cookies. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites; you can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info.

Purchases
Remove Ads is a one-time purchase handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We never see your payment details; the store tells the app only whether you own Remove Ads, and the app remembers that on your device so ads stay off offline. Restore purchases in Settings brings it back on a new device.
Data stored on your device
To remember your preferences and records, the app saves a few values in the device's local storage. They never leave your device and are not readable by us.

You can erase this data at any time by deleting the app, or on the web by clearing the site's data in your browser settings.
Device features the app uses
- Touch, keyboard and game controllers — read only to fly the drone, processed on the device.
- Meta Quest headset and Touch controllers (VR mode) — head and controller position are used only to draw the view and fly the drone in real time. They are not recorded or sent anywhere.
- Meta Quest account (Quest app only) — at launch the app asks the Meta Horizon Store on your headset whether your Meta account owns Drone Sim. The account ID it receives is checked on the device and immediately discarded: it is not stored, recorded or sent anywhere.
- Audio output and vibration — for motor sound and rumble feedback. The app does not use the microphone, camera, location, contacts or photos.
Children
The app is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13; ads shown to users identified as children are limited to non-personalised ads under Google's policies.
Third parties
Google (AdMob and AdSense, see Google Privacy Policy), the app stores (Apple App Store, Google Play, Meta Horizon Store) and the web host (GitHub Pages) process data such as ad requests, downloads, purchases or server logs under their own privacy policies. We receive only aggregated, anonymous reports from them (ad earnings, store statistics), never personal data.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
