Frequently asked questions
How do I fly?
On a phone or tablet you fly with two on-screen sticks. By default (Stick mode 2) the left stick is throttle (up/down) and yaw (left/right), and the right stick is pitch and roll. Arm the drone, then push the throttle up to take off. Angle mode self-levels the drone; Acro holds attitude like a real FPV quad and is harder to fly. Choose the flight mode in Settings.
Can I use a game controller?
Yes. Pair a Bluetooth gamepad with your device and it is picked up automatically. Choose the stick layout (Mode 1 to 4) in Settings, and remap axes and buttons in Settings › Controller.
How do online races work?
Open Play › Online. Use Quick match to be placed in a race, or create a room and share its room code, or enter a friend's code and tap Join. No account is needed. You can change your pilot name in the Hangar.
How do I remove ads or restore my purchase?
On the iPhone, iPad and Android apps, open Settings and tap Remove Ads (one-time purchase). If you bought it before, or you have a new device, tap Restore purchases in Settings while signed in to the same App Store or Google Play account. The web version and the Meta Quest app do not have this purchase.
What are the ad privacy and tracking choices?
On iOS, change tracking permission in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking. In regions that require consent, reopen the choice any time from Drone Sim's Settings › Ad privacy choices. Details are in our Privacy Policy.
The game runs slowly. What can I do?
Lower Graphics quality in Settings › Graphics. On the web, also close other tabs and make sure hardware acceleration is turned on in your browser.
How do I delete my data?
Settings and records are stored on your device only; delete the app (or clear the site's data in your browser) to erase them. If you joined the online leaderboards, email us your pilot name and we will delete your pilot and all its laps. See the Privacy Policy for what is stored.
